The story of Johansen & Anderson Inc starts back in 1946, when World War II was over and the soldiers were returning home. This was a time when the technology behind home heating was changing rapidly as the forced-air furnace took over from cast iron radiators, and the air conditioner was still on the verge of making a breakthrough as a popular home appliance.
